VIETNAM FEDERATION OF UNESCO ASSOCIATIONS CONGRATULATES OUTSTANDING ENTERPRISES, ENTREPRENEURS, AND EXECUTIVES FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF VIETNAMESE BUSINESS CULTURE

The Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations is a social organization that brings together a wide range of organizations, Vietnamese citizens nationwide, as well as overseas Vietnamese who voluntarily participate and contribute to activities in line with the goals and ideals of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as stated in its Constitution. The Federation functions as an extended arm of Vietnam’s UNESCO-related activities under the Government, and is a reputable, active member of the World Federation of UNESCO Associations and the Asia–Pacific Federation of UNESCO Associations. It plays a vital role in promoting UNESCO’s objectives and programs, disseminating knowledge in science, education, culture, and communication – which are UNESCO’s core areas of expertise.

In active response to the Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the era of accelerated industrialization, modernization, and international integration, the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations organized the recognition program:

“Outstanding Enterprises, Entrepreneurs, and Executives for the Development of Vietnamese Business Culture; Vietnamese Identity Products and Brands Positioning Global Value.”

This program honors leaders, executives, enterprises, organizations, and individuals who exemplify excellence in fostering business culture and developing Vietnamese-identity products and brands with global value positioning in the digital economy era. It also recognizes their significant contributions to socio-economic development and national revitalization in the spirit of “Studying and Following Ho Chi Minh’s Moral Example.”

Through this initiative, the Federation aims to spread national values and uphold the noble virtues of the Vietnamese people.

The traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai has been preserved through generations, cherished and passed down as a cultural treasure for the future. The Ao Dai reflects Vietnam’s transformation over time, standing the test of history to become the nation’s official attire and a profound cultural symbol.

In an effort to have the Ao Dai recognized by UNESCO as part of humanity’s cultural heritage, Vietnam is actively preparing its nomination for inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This process underscores the importance of safeguarding, promoting, and raising awareness of the Ao Dai’s cultural value.

At the recognition ceremony for outstanding enterprises, entrepreneurs, and executives, participants proudly wore the traditional Ao Dai embroidered with the UNESCO Vietnam logo. This was a meaningful highlight, reflecting the aspiration of the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations to honor and showcase the enduring beauty of national heritage.

Congratulations to the outstanding entrepreneurs, enterprises, and executives “For the Development of Vietnamese Business Culture.”
